A Room Without a Roof

If I had to pick a favorite, it might just be this fire sign. When the Moon enters Sagittarius, I often notice my mood improve and optimistic thoughts dancing through my mind. It makes sense as Jupiter—the planet of expansion, abundance, and luck—rules this sign. Fire inspires and motivates. Sagittarius energy produces constant seekers who love foreign experiences of the mind and body. This lunation invites a release of limited thinking and dreaming beyond what you thought was possible. Neptune—the planet of delusions and illusions—can aid in the flight of fantasy. Use Saturn's influence to ground yourself in the practical.

The three personal planets are chilling at home, expressing their energies easily from June 13th to the 22nd! Mercury in Gemini enables clear thinking, Venus in Taurus connects us to life's pleasures, and Mars in Aries brings confidence to pursue our goals. Use this momentum to alchemize imagination into manifestation. The Celestial...

The Adventure Continues

Wow, eclipse season was fast, bountiful, and sadly tragic. In line with the relationship expanding Venus Jupiter conjunction, Sweden and Finland submitted their bid to join NATO. In addition, an awe-inspiring number of engagement announcements amped up the joy. Congratulations to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jessica Szohr, Sofia Ritchie, Marc Anthony, and Kat Williams! Did you make any new alliances? On a sad note, the baby formula crisis made headlines. Ceres, the asteroid of parenting, was at the karmic, last degree of newsmaker Gemini and semisquare chaotic Uranus in resource ruling Taurus. Many eyes are watching Johnny Depp and Amber Heard expose their dirty secrets during the public defamation trial. The laundry is literally dirty – on-brand for the Scorpio lunar eclipse.

There were three mass shootings after this intense full moon during which the feared fixed star Algol at 26º Taurus was activated. Since ancient times, astrologers have documented the correlation...

Wash Me Clean

I am pleased to report that my trip back east to visit high school friends was joyful and soul-nourishing. We fell back into step as though we had not been apart for decades. So far, positive new beginnings were delivered as promised by the solar eclipse in my 11th house of good fortune. However, the lunar eclipse at 25º Scorpio on May 15th at 9:13pm PT is a time for release, and it is intense.

Watery Scorpio never does anything light or easy. This sign initiates growth by traveling into the heart of darkness. The Phoenix promises transformation and pushes our psyches in uncomfortable ways. I am facing my shadows through my dreams. Uncomfortable topics around self-worth and intimacy that I thought healed have resurfaced—Mercury retrogrades during the eclipse and treads over old ground. The way forward is through the shadows of the past.

Lunar eclipses shed light on darkness. Be prepared for unearthed secrets in the collective and potentially your own life. The Taurus Sun...

Fertile Ground

Taurus energy invites us to solidify the foundations of what we are building and move forward methodically. Practical matters are in focus. Venus rules the sign of the bull. Money matters, sensual pleasures, and physical comfort may be top of mind. This lunation is a solar eclipse; it’s a time of fated changes. We walk through a door, and when we look behind us, there is a wall. There is no going back.

This intense activation at 10º Taurus on April 30 at 1:27 pm PT is in my 11th house of friends, groups, hopes, and dreams. The luminaries are conjunct my 12º Taurus Sun, so my natal excitation is strong. I already see parts of the story. I am traveling back east to visit childhood friends—some who I have not seen in over 20 years. I am excited and nervous as I am not sure about the reaction to my being an astrologer. We shall see; I must be authentically myself.

Starting a membership community is on my vision board. This week, I signed up for a course so that I...

A Fine Balance

This lunation at 26º Libra on April 16 at 11:54am PT invites us to reflect on how we balance our actions for self-fulfillment vs. nurturing relationships. Consider whether people-pleasing and the desire for approval prevent your authentic self- expression. On the flip side, are you being too self-focused or impulsive in your responses?

For myself, I had a realization that my new and full moon videos were too time-consuming. I hate to disappoint my community, but I will expend my energy on a weekly podcast to help you prepare for the energies of the week instead. You can find the Celestial Insights podcast anywhere you listen. Please follow and share with any friends who enjoy astrology.

This Full Moon is a beauty and a beast. I suggest leaning into the creative, imaginative, and lovely aspects. The Jupiter Neptune conjunction still invites us to dream big and have an optimistic viewpoint. Avoid burning relationships to the ground with impulsive, petty, or emotional reactions....

The Starting Line

The Aries Equinox is a gateway into the light. Once we cross, the balance changes; there are more hours of light than dark. It is why it is the first sign of the zodiac year. It is a birthing of sorts. Can you feel the fire? Watch how others change. People move faster, assert themselves more forcefully and feel an internal push to accomplish something.

The New Moon at 11º Aries on March 31 at 11:24 pm PT is the most potent of the year. Carve out time to set intentions. Despite the chaos of the world around us, life goes on. Use this extra energy to accelerate manifesting your dreams.

Aries is ruled by Mars, the planet of drive, assertion, and action. Be mindful of an impulsive and primal urge to take action. Remember to look before you leap to avoid regrets and relationship breakdowns. Will Smith’s Oscar scandal was astrology in action. He was experiencing difficult transits. After an impeccable public image for decades, he will deal with the shame and consequences of an...

Reality Bites

How perfect that the last Full Moon of the zodiac calendar year is in analytical Virgo. It is time to examine our daily routines, habits, and rituals with a critical eye. Separate the wheat from the chaff for a fresh start before charging into Aries season. As always, celebrate any wins, no matter how small. The Pisces Sun encourages acceptance and forgiveness for any missed goals. Stay grounded as the activation with Neptune can lead us into fantasy. Keep it whimsical rather than escapist or fear-inducing.

Personally, I have daily habits that need adjusting. My big goal is to stop catering to my natal Venus and Mars in Gemini by venturing off task with distractions from shiny objects. Squirrel!! Also, my Taurus Sun and Cancer rising enjoy self-indulgence. However, initial success on the journey to tame that beast is mine! Since starting metabolism-boosting ProLon last fall, I am down 17 pounds and feeling myself. Yes, I am! Check out my affiliate link if you want to try this...

Manifest the Dream

Apologies for my lateness and brevity as my sister unexpectedly visited me for a few days. A surprise gift! Thank you, Jupiter Uranus sextile. I hope you enjoy the mystical magic of Pisces season. Commit to a regular connection to your intuition. Investigate the liminal spaces—the in-between.

Two weeks ago, the Leo Full Moon brought each of us to a crossroads. Now, we move forward and make decisions that have long-range consequences. I love that this New Moon at 12º Pisces activated Jupiter, the benevolent teacher. The Venus and Mars activation of Pluto in Capricorn can provide strength, determination, and grit. How can you keep the faith that your dreams are possible despite the turbulence? Outline the steps to manifest your goals and then do it. Keep your commitments to yourself. Slow down as the call is for steady, consistent progress, not speed—one foot in front of the other.

Fired Up!

The Sun rules the zodiac sign of Leo. This luminary is the life-giving force that fuels inspiration and creativity. Many screen actors have a strong Leo signature. Their luminosity captivates the audience. The luminaries will oppose each other on February 16 at 8:56 am PT. With this illumination, consider what you do just for the joy of it. Which hobbies fill you with pleasure? How can you reclaim some of the enthusiasm for life you had as a child?

After a cosmically sluggish start to the year, all the planets move in direct motion until April 29. Venus and Mars will meet in the sky a few hours before this Full Moon. They are in ambitious Capricorn. Act now to move your goals forward. Connect with the feelings of pleasure that success brings and recommit to the steps to achieve your big goals.

At the webinar yesterday, I discussed Canada's Freedom Convoy and how it may be connected with the Pluto return of the United States. Watch the video here.

Finding Focus

Confusingly, the symbol for airy Aquarius is the water bearer. Air signs rule communication and mental processes. This cosmic water nourishes the mind rather than the physical body. Prominent Aquarius energy is often found in the natal charts of scientists, inventors, and thought leaders. They gather knowledge and provide the collective with new tools and information to evolve.

The Humanitarian and the Revolutionary are well-known archetypes. At their core, people who embody this energy want to make things better in the future than they are in the now. There is a quest to improve something. The shadow energy can leave destruction in its wake, or it can change the world for the better when light.

Aquarius rules the big picture. This New Moon at 12º Aquarius on Monday, January 31 at 9:45 pm PT, invites us to think outside a traditional box when we set our intentions. Consider your long-range goals, dreams, and innovative ideas. What do you desire? How can you be more engaged with...
