Before I became a full-time astrologer, I spent more than 25 years in the corporate world, building a successful career in sales, marketing, and business development. On the outside, everything looked great. Inside, I knew I was being called in a different direction.

Following that calling wasn't always easy. It required courage, trust, and a willingness to embrace uncertainty. Looking back, every step, even the difficult ones, led me exactly where I was meant to be.

Leo is ruled by the Sun, the center of our solar system. Everything revolves around it. One of the most fascinating shifts in astrology happened this week. Saturn stationed retrograde in Aries as the North Node entered Aquarius and the South Node entered Leo. Within days, the Aquarius Full Moon conjoins Pluto, shining a spotlight on the collective. Together, these transits tell one story.

The South Node in Leo drains what has become excessive. Leo rules kings, celebrities, leaders, performers, and those who believe they are above the rules. Aquarius reminds us that we're all interconnected.

This Full Moon made me think about Tall Poppy Syndrome, a phrase popular in Australia and New Zealand. It describes the tendency to criticize or "cut down" people who rise above the crowd. At its healthiest, it's rooted in an Aquarian ideal of egalitarianism, the belief that everyone deserves equal dignity and respect. At its worst, it becomes resentment toward anyone who succeeds or stands out.

The Cancer New Moon arrives on July 14 at 21°59' Cancer, nearly exact on a world point. World points often coincide with events that receive global attention. The unexpected death of Senator Lindsey Graham and the absence of Senator Mitch McConnell have become symbolic of a broader theme under this lunation: established leadership is shifting, and the political landscape is entering a period of transition.

The New Moon at 24° Gemini on June 14, 2026, arrives during one of the most dynamic years many of us have ever experienced.

Before we dive into this lunation, I want to take a moment to appreciate the recent Venus-Jupiter conjunction in Cancer. Underneath that beautiful transit was a challenging Mercury-Saturn square, and many people took to social media to talk about delays, frustrations, and things not going as planned. Yet Venus and Jupiter delivered in many ways.

One example was New York City. The city has a 25° Cancer rising chart, and the Venus-Jupiter conjunction landed right on that ascendant. Despite setbacks, frustrations, and political distractions, the city came together. Today, Mercury entered Cancer, the sign ruled by the Moon. As the planet of communication, thinking, learning, and information moves through this emotionally attuned sign, our conversations and mental processes become more influenced by feelings, memories, intuition, and personal experiences.
