I was sorry to miss the second No King’s Day protest, but my heart was with everyone who gathered. It was wonderful to see the huge turnout and collective energy rising for justice and change. I spent the week in Park City, Utah, teaching at the OPA Cosmic Shift Retreat, and it was truly magical. We are all feeling the intensity right now. Consider how you manage your emotions. For myself, it’s been a call to disconnect a little from the news cycle and to spend more time grounding. I’ve joined a Tuesday night meditation group to help manage the anxiety that rises when the world feels uncertain.

I am personally in a nodal return, a cycle that repeats every 18 years when the lunar nodes return to the position of your birth. The South Node in Virgo is highlighting my third house of the mind. We begin this week under the intensity of a solar eclipse at 29 Virgo. Solar eclipses are supercharged New Moons, times when the universe presses reset. This one, at the degree of crisis and decay, asks us to confront what’s collapsing so something new can be born.

Virgo energy sorts, categorizes, and separates the wheat from the chaff. The eclipse may bring exposure through power outages, system breakdowns, or secrets revealed. It is also opposite Saturn in Pisces, underscoring karmic lessons about boundaries, accountability, and compassion.
