I am in Borrego Springs, CA, this week under a dark sky in the desert. Getting away from the stressors of city life is a blessing.  My nervous system is relaxed, my sleep is deeper and my dreams are vivid. I lectured on the Moon Phase Families for the Astro-Bash conference and completed my first Peer Group with the Organization for Professional Astrology (OPA). What a joy to connect with other astrologers to share how we do our work, learn from each other, and receive constructive feedback. I aim to finish my OPA certification by the time Saturn, the planet of hard work, legacy, and achievement, reaches my midheaven (MC). The MC is the pinnacle of our natal chart.  My MC is in Aries, and this Full Moon is lighting up my career house. High road Aries is a pioneer who inspires others to take calculated risks for self-actualization.

How perfect that the last Full Moon of the zodiac calendar year is in analytical Virgo. It is time to examine our daily routines, habits, and rituals with a critical eye. Separate the wheat from the chaff for a fresh start before charging into Aries season. As always, celebrate any wins, no matter how small. The Pisces Sun encourages acceptance and forgiveness for any missed goals. Stay grounded as the activation with Neptune can lead us into fantasy. Keep it whimsical rather than escapist or fear-inducing.

Personally, I have daily habits that need adjusting. My big goal is to stop catering to my natal Venus and Mars in Gemini by venturing off task with distractions from shiny objects. Squirrel!! Also, my Taurus Sun and Cancer rising enjoy self-indulgence. However, initial success on the journey to tame that beast is mine! This Scorpio season promises surprises as we have the first eclipse on the axis of possessions. Personal vs shared resources will be in focus. On November 19, the Taurus Moon opposes the Scorpio Sun.  This lunation is a sneak peek into the karmic collective journey of the North Node in Taurus upcoming transit: January 19, 2022 – July 17, 2023.
