Attending the United Astrology Conference (UAC) and sharing my work during two lectures was a dream come true. I loved reconnecting with old friends and meeting new people, but what brought me the most joy was meeting clients who have come to me for readings, students who have studied with me, and professional astrologers who have participated in my mentoring cohorts.
It was deeply moving to see my students and mentees flourish, grow in confidence, and share their own wisdom. Some were even speaking at the conference. Watching people I have supported step forward and thrive was incredibly rewarding and one of the most meaningful parts of the entire experience. You can purchase the recordings of my UAC talks here.
At times, all the energy was emotionally overwhelming, and I needed to retreat to my hotel room, a temporary nest away from home for this Cancer rising. This is a good time to take extra care of yourself and baby your nervous system. Uranus is stationing retrograde, amplifying mental agitation. Delays, reversals, conflicts, and the collapse of what was contemplated are all on brand.
The Virgo New Moon on September 10 at 11:26 pm ET is an invitation to create order in the areas of life that have become scattered, cluttered, or inefficient.
Virgo is associated with health, work, routines, systems, organization, food, and the practical details of everyday life. This is an excellent time to set intentions to improve your well-being, clean up your diet, establish a healthier routine, or finally schedule the appointment you have been postponing.
You can also use this energy to declutter your home, clean your workspace, organize important documents, review your calendar, or develop a better system for managing your responsibilities. Virgo reminds us that small, consistent changes can create meaningful results.
Preparation is another important theme. Take inventory of what you have and what you may need. Restock essential household items, review your emergency supplies, plan your meals, and consider where you can become more self-sufficient. With gas and other necessities becoming more expensive, this is also a powerful new moon for creating a budget, reducing waste, and becoming more intentional about how you use your resources.
There is a tremendous amount of shifting energy surrounding this New Moon. Venus and Mercury both change signs, while Uranus stations retrograde in Gemini. Conversations and relationships may feel unsettled. This energy can bring a wonderful surprise or sudden breakthrough, but it can also spark an excited utterance you can't take back.
Take extra care with how you speak to loved ones and colleagues. Virgo’s shadow can be critical, perfectionistic, and overly focused on what is wrong. Pause before pointing out every flaw. Ask yourself whether your words will improve the situation or simply add more chaos.
Pay attention to your inner dialogue, too. You cannot create a healthier life while constantly criticizing yourself. Replace judgment with discernment. Notice what needs improvement, make a practical plan, and begin with one manageable step.
This New Moon marks the official end of eclipse season, but the fallout continues. We are already seeing blockbuster reporting as Uranus stations retrograde in Gemini. Retrogrades pull back the tape, Uranus brings shocking revelations, and Gemini rules information, documents, communication, and the air.
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced the release of more than 170,000 pages of previously unseen records concerning the air quality and health risks around Ground Zero after September 11. These documents may reveal more about what officials knew while workers and residents were encouraged to return to Lower Manhattan.
The astrology is strikingly literal. Gemini rules the air and, in medical astrology, the lungs. Virgo rules health, workers, and the systems responsible for protecting them. Thousands of first responders have suffered from illnesses connected to toxic exposure, and more than 12,000 FDNY members have reportedly been diagnosed with at least one World Trade Center-related illness. New York Post
Another blockbuster report concerns October 7. Haaretz reported an allegation that UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, approximately ten days before the attack, that Yahya Sinwar was planning a major operation. According to the report, Netanyahu did not pass the alleged warning to Israel’s security forces.
Netanyahu strongly denies that the conversation occurred and has announced plans to sue Haaretz and the journalist involved. The UAE has neither confirmed nor denied the reported warning, while Haaretz is standing by its investigation. The Times
This week’s Celestial Insights podcast is called The Dead Zone. Every week, the podcast theme offers a teaser about one of the biggest stories that may emerge, and this one showed up in two hauntingly literal ways.
The toxic air around Ground Zero became a dead zone whose effects are still claiming lives. The October 7 reporting takes us back to the period before another devastating attack and raises questions about what was known, what was communicated, and what may have been withheld.
Uranus retrograde in Gemini pulls back the tape. The past speaks again through documents, reporting, and information that can no longer remain buried.

For your New Moon ritual, consider these questions:
What area of my life needs more order?
Which habit would most improve my health or daily life?
You do not need to fix everything at once. Choose one intention, write down the steps, and begin. This Virgo New Moon reminds us that bringing order to chaos starts with the next practical action.
