Client Agreement & Informed Consent for Astrology Services

Astrology by Celeste LLC
This agreement outlines the nature of services provided by Astrology by Celeste LLC and establishes expectations between the practitioner and the client.
By scheduling or participating in a consultation, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.
Description of Services
Astrology by Celeste LLC provides astrology consultations for educational and personal insight purposes using the symbolic language of astrology.
Services may include:
- Natal chart interpretation
- Transit and forecasting consultations
- Â Relationship or compatibility (synastry) readings
- Timing techniques and life-cycle discussions
- Astrology-based guidance for reflection, awareness, and personal development
Astrology sessions are intended to provide insight into life themes, cycles, and patterns reflected in a birth chart and current planetary movements.
Astrology is interpretive and symbolic in nature and does not guarantee outcomes or predictions.
Clients are responsible for their own decisions and actions following a consultation.
Practitioner Education and Credentials
Celeste Brooks is a professional astrologer, educator, speaker, and consultant.
She is an OPA Certified Astrologer through the Organization for Professional Astrology (OPA). This certification requires formal training, examination, and demonstrated proficiency in astrological practice.
Celeste integrates multiple astrological traditions, including modern, traditional, and evolutionary techniques, to provide comprehensive chart interpretation and forecasting.
She also serves as Program Director for the Organization for Professional Astrology, where she oversees educational programming and events that train and support professional astrologers. Celeste regularly teaches classes, presents lectures, and consults with individuals and organizations.
Scope of Practice & Professional Boundaries
Astrology consultations are provided for educational, spiritual, and personal development purposes only.
Astrology services are not a substitute for licensed professional services, including but not limited to:
- Medical diagnosis or treatment
- Psychological or psychiatric therapy
- Legal advice Financial or investment advice
Celeste Brooks does not diagnose, treat, or cure medical or mental health conditions. Astrology sessions do not constitute therapy or counseling.
Clients are encouraged to seek qualified licensed professionals for medical, legal, financial, or mental health concerns.
Confidentiality
Information shared during a consultation is treated with discretion and respect.
Client information will not be shared with third parties without permission except:
- When required by law
- When there is risk of harm to the client or others
- When necessary to comply with legal obligations
Consultations may occur through digital platforms. While reasonable precautions are taken to protect privacy, complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed when using internet-based communication.
Payment Policy
Payment is required at the time of booking to reserve a consultation.
Rescheduling Policy
Appointments may be rescheduled but not canceled.
Clients may request to reschedule their appointment with advance notice whenever possible. Ideally, rescheduling requests should be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.
Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in the session being considered completed.
Punctuality
Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time.
If a client arrives late, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time to respect other scheduled appointments.
Recording Policy
Clients may request that their consultation be recorded.
If a recording is requested, it will typically be provided through the video conferencing platform used for the session or shared through a secure link after the consultation.
Recordings are provided for the client’s private and personal use so they may review the information discussed.
Clients are responsible for downloading and saving their recording once it has been provided. Astrology by Celeste LLC does not guarantee long-term storage of recordings.
If a recording is not requested or technical difficulties prevent recording, Astrology by Celeste LLC is not responsible for recreating or repeating the consultation.
Intellectual Property
All materials provided during consultations—including recordings, charts, written interpretations, presentations, notes, and teaching materials—are the intellectual property of Celeste Brooks and Astrology by Celeste LLC.
These materials may not be reproduced, redistributed, published, shared publicly, uploaded online, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
Materials are provided solely for the client’s personal educational use.
Public Posting & Social Media
Clients may not publicly post, publish, livestream, share clips, or distribute recordings or excerpts from consultations on social media, podcasts, websites, or other public platforms without prior written permission from Celeste Brooks.
This policy helps protect client privacy and the integrity of the consultation process.
Artificial Intelligence & Data Use
Recordings, materials, and session content may not be uploaded, distributed, or used to train artificial intelligence systems, language models, or automated tools without explicit written permission.
Technology Disclaimer
Consultations may take place via online platforms such as Zoom.
While reasonable efforts are made to ensure reliable technology, Astrology by Celeste LLC is not responsible for interruptions caused by internet outages, platform disruptions, or technical problems on the client’s device.
If significant technical issues occur, reasonable efforts will be made to complete or reschedule the session.
Client Conduct
Astrology by Celeste LLC reserves the right to end a session if a client engages in abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior.
In such cases, refunds will not be issued.
Right to Decline Services
Celeste Brooks reserves the right to decline or discontinue services if a consultation falls outside the scope of practice or if it is determined that the service is not appropriate for the client’s needs.
Informed Consent & Liability
By scheduling or participating in a consultation, the client acknowledges that astrology is a symbolic and interpretive practice intended for educational, reflective, and personal insight purposes.
The client understands that:
- Astrology does not predict guaranteed outcomes
- Interpretations are offered as guidance and perspective
- The client retains full responsibility for their own decisions and actions
Except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct, the client agrees to release and hold harmless Celeste Brooks and Astrology by Celeste LLC from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in astrology consultations or from decisions made based on information discussed during a session.
Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state in which Astrology by Celeste LLC operates.
Client Acknowledgment
By booking or participating in services provided by Astrology by Celeste LLC, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Client Agreement and Informed Consent.
