Pattern Recognition

Solar eclipses seed karmic new beginnings; lunar eclipses are the big reveal. They illuminate what has been building beneath the surface. They bring culmination, accountability, and consequences.

This eclipse is in Virgo. This sign rules health, farming, systems, employment, and workers - including the rank-and-file of the military. It oversees the small details that keep everything functioning. It governs supply chains, logistics, and the mechanics of how things actually work. With the South Node in this sign, we have a drain on all the topics.

We are watching that play out in real time.

The February 17th solar eclipse was conjunct the U.S. natal Moon in Aquarius and squared Uranus. That is public shock. That is a disruption to the collective emotional body. But eclipse events often wait for a trigger.

Mars squared Uranus on Friday. That was the trigger.

The United States attacked Iran alongside Israel and set off a chaotic chain reaction of death and destruction across the Middle East.

I cannot think of a worse time to initiate a conflict than with Mercury in Pisces, the sign of its detriment and fall. Decision-making is clouded by fantasy, information is unreliable, and strategy lacks clarity. And we are in a retrograde cycle where reversals, confusion, and unintended consequences are part of the field. Mistakes are all but guaranteed.

We have already seen friendly fire take down 3 fighter jets. So far, six soldiers are dead, and the President says more deaths are likely. Virgo rules supply chains, and with the Strait of Hormuz now closed, oil prices will skyrocket worldwide. Flights across the region are cancelled as the bombs fly. When a South Node Virgo eclipse hits, we see the cost in measurable ways.

Virgo also rules employment and labor. At the same time, AI continues to disrupt entire industries. Systems are shifting. Jobs are changing. People are anxious about security. The eclipse is not just about war. It is about the stability of the structures that support daily life.

Saturn in Aries, in the sign of its fall, suggests leaders are mishandling their responsibilities. Neptune adds disillusionment. With Aries, there is anger. Most Americans do not want war.

In my conversation with Dabney Lawless, we go deep into what this lunar eclipse may reveal. We discuss the Texas Senate race, AI disrupting employment, the war in Iran, and the broader systemic shifts unfolding now.

Celestial Insights Podcast Word of the Day

Sunday – FEROCITY

This Leo Moon transit is intense & invites courage. You may feel the urge to act, to speak, to stand tall. Notice where frustration has been building.

Collectively, leadership and ego dynamics are amplified. With Mars preparing to shift into Pisces, the roar may precede a retreat. There is boldness, but also uncertainty about what comes next. Let strength be guided, not reactive.

Prompt: Where do I need to be brave without becoming reckless?

Monday – LEGION

The Leo Moon clashes with Uranus in Taurus and opposes Mars before shifting into Virgo. Fixed energy digs in. People are stubborn. Emotions run hot. Then the tone changes. Virgo asks for order.

Collectively, we may see groups organizing, protesting, or mobilizing. A legion is structured power. Mars entering Pisces shifts direct aggression into something more tidal. Discipline matters now.

Prompt: What structure do I need to build to support what I believe in?

Tuesday – SWARM

The Virgo lunar eclipse at 12 degrees brings revelation. The South Node pulls something up from beneath the surface. Receipts, records, documentation. What has been quietly operating is exposed.

Collectively, this is systems under scrutiny. Information spreads quickly. The beehive is activated. With Mercury retrograde in Pisces opposing the Moon, facts may surface in waves. Stay discerning.

Prompt: What truth am I ready to see clearly, even if it disrupts my comfort?

Wednesday – DISGRACE

Venus at the final degree of Pisces sextiles Uranus, and the Moon moves into Libra. Something idealized may wobble. A pedestal may crack at 29 degrees.

Collectively, headlines may highlight reputations shifting or unexpected revelations in relationships and culture. Libra seeks balance after Virgo’s critique. Restoration is possible, but illusions dissolve first.

Prompt: Where have I projected perfection instead of seeing reality?

Thursday – REQUIEM

The Pisces Sun trines Jupiter in Cancer. There is water everywhere. Emotion, memory, longing. Something may be ending. A goodbye, a release, a soft surrender.

Collectively, this feels like a chapter closing. With Saturn and Neptune newly in Aries, the dream meets reality. Grief and growth coexist. Let yourself feel what is passing.

Prompt: What am I ready to honor and release with compassion?

Friday – SCANDAL

Venus enters Aries, the sign of her detriment, meeting Neptune and then Saturn. Desire moves fast. Words can spark quickly with Mercury still retrograde.

Collectively, relationship dynamics intensify. Allies may clash. A bold move in love, money, or politics could dominate the narrative. The dream inflates, then Saturn delivers the reality check.

Prompt: Am I fighting for connection or just to win?

Saturday – SPILL

Mercury retrograde meets the Sun in Pisces. Cazimi. Illumination in the fog. Secrets slip. Glasses tip over. Messages reach the wrong inbox.

Collectively, leaks, confessions, or intuitive downloads are likely. The Scorpio Moon squares Pluto in Aquarius, bringing power dynamics to the surface. What is hidden wants air.

Prompt: What insight is trying to break through the noise for me right now?
